No, you do not have to. The AiroDoctor automatically goes into sleep mode in a dark environment, where it continues to operate at the lowest level and deactivates the illuminated LED ring.
The AiroDoctor is produced in South Korea. Here, the device was already used in Corona emergency centers at the beginning of the pandemic and recommended by the authorities for use in public buildings. In South Korea, the AiroDoctor has received scientific support from the renowned Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) since the beginning of its development. In January 2021, it joined the ranks of KICT's official partner companies and can draw on its technological and scientific resources. The European headquarters and central warehouse are located in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany and are represented by ScreenSource GmbH as co-developer of the AiroDoctor.

Yes, a remote control is included in the scope of delivery as standard. The controls on the device and on the remote control are identical.
Do not lift or move the AiroDoctor while it is in operation. Make sure that the power cord, socket, as well as casing parts are not damaged. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings and do not use any chemical substances (such as insecticides or room sprays) in the rooms to be cleaned.
Child lock and automatic shut-off provide additional safety during operation. The child lock protects against accidental key entry, the automatic switch-off activates if the device is moved improperly.
The circulating LED lighting indicates the level of pollution in the air, which is measured via the PM2.5 sensor. In automatic mode, the fan level 1-8 regulates itself up and down based on this measurement. The air pollution level is indicated in the range 0-500, which corresponds to the particle load in ug/m3 at a ratio of 1:4.
